Your Travel Pharmacy: Depart Well-Prepared
A holiday should be carefree, but an accident or a sudden illness can throw a spanner in the works. A well-stocked travel pharmacy is therefore indispensable, whether you are going camping in the Ardennes or on a tour through Asia.
The Basics: What should always be included?
Regardless of your destination, Zaghbour Pharmacy advises the following basics:
- Pain and fever: Paracetamol is the safest choice. For safety, also take an anti-inflammatory after consultation.
- Digestion: An anti-diarrheal (loperamide) and ORS sachets to prevent dehydration.
- Wound care: Disinfectant, plasters, sterile compresses and surgical tape.
- Insects: An insect repellent (with DEET for tropics) and a soothing ointment for bites.
